Hi Charlie! I had to comment on "Barry Lyndon" being one of your favorite movies. (I've been checking out some of your blog entries as I get ready to share it with the incoming students.) BL isn't one of my favorites, but I know it's rather obscure. I had to tell you, though, that I've been to the castle where a lot of it was filmed. It is in Ludwigsburg, Germany, and it is HUGE. I visited a cousin and aunt who live in L'burg in '98, and they took me for a tour. It was something like Garden Week, and each room had gorgeous flower arrangements as big as a gorilla. NOT exaggerating! :-)
